Brightidea integrates with OpenAI in various point solutions throughout the product. We follow all private and security policies within the API guidelines, with additional links and questions listed below.
It is important to note, that all current features with AI need to be engaged with directly by the end user and we do not proactively extract data to service the model. Is my information stored?
OpenAI will not use data submitted by customers via the API to train or improve the models.
What technical protections and security certifications does OpenAI have in place surrounding the public API?
The OpenAI API is SOC 2 Type 2 compliant and has been audited by an independent third-party auditor against the 2017 Trust Services Criteria for Security.
When I call the API, is the data encrypted in transit?
The OpenAI API is only available over Transport Layer Security (TLS), and therefore customer-to-OpenAI requests and responses are encrypted.
