What are the password requirements if I do not use "strong password rules"?

Answer:

  • The following requirements are present for passwords for entry within WebStorm:
    • Must be at least six characters
    • Must contain one number (0-9)
    • Please note, the following characters will not work in a password: " + , . : ; ' _ - [ ] { ( ) : } \ | ".

    Hi Anthony,

    Is it possible in anyway to save your login details on the browser so you do not have to input it everytime?

    Or is it not recommended for security reasons?

    Hi Jorge - We had a "Remember Me" feature but we recently rolled it back due to a needed rehaul.  We are aiming to re-release it in Q4.  Thank you.
