Can I disable user profiles? What happens when I disable profiles in setup?

Answer:

• User profiles can be disabled at the Initiative-level. The option to disable profiles for a specific Initiative can be found in Site Setup -> Site -> General Settings.

• • NOTE: System-level profiles must also be disabled in order to disable Initiative-level profiles. System-level profiles can be disabled from Site Setup -> Site -> Enterprise.

• After you disable profiles, the profile page will no longer be accessible.
  • When a user name is clicked or a user tries to access the profile page from the Initiative-level, they will receive the following message:

• • NOTE: System-level profiles will still be accessible to users in other Initiatives. System-level profiles cannot be disabled at this time.
