Introducing New Updates for Brightidea, Brightidea Memo, and Whiteboard

Hello Brightidea users! We are thrilled to announce a series of updates across our suite of products, including Brightidea, Brightidea Memo, and Brightidea Whiteboard. Our dedicated team has been working diligently to improve your experience and empower you with the best tools to bring your ideas to life.

In this release, we have focused on enhancing the user interface, adding new features, and fixing bugs across all three platforms. Our goal is to make your innovation process smoother, more efficient, and more enjoyable, whether you're brainstorming, collaborating, or finalizing your work.

BRIGHTIDEA:

✨ Features and Improvements:

1. Development fields can now be included in scheduled exports, providing more comprehensive report data.
2. You can now add numbers to the custom idea code prefix in System and Site Setup, allowing for more flexible idea code customization.

🐞 Bug Fixes:

1. When duplicating an initiative, View Idea 3.0 settings will be correctly copied to the new Initiative.
2. Fixed the page crash that occurred after editing the View Idea 3.0 template.
3. Improved the Pipeline Automation Setup to prevent issues when deleting multiple statuses quickly.
4. Fixed a user permission issue where non-admin and non-owners could toggle idea visibility.
5. Fixed an issue in View Idea 3.0 where the wrong idea was opening from the popup window in certain scenarios.
6. Addressed a bug in View Idea 3.0 Widgets where initial widget configurations were not saving correctly.

WHITEBOARD:

✨ Features and Improvements:

1. Improved the interaction and hit zones for scaling and rotation.
2. Incremental improvements to text interactions.
3. Added Export as PNG/PDF hotkeys to the Hotkey Menu, making exporting more efficient.
4. Updated the right-click functionality for selected objects, allowing you to better interact with objects on the canvas, regardless of their layering order.
5. Adjusted the unequal left/right margin on the pointer label for a consistent appearance.

🐞 Bug Fixes:

1. Fixed an issue where the viewing area and zoom level for users was not retained. 
2. Fixed the issue with presetting text color, font, and size. Now, the font field expands as expected, and all presets work properly.
3. Addressed the issue where the order of objects was not honored when duplicated.

MEMO:

✨ Features and Improvements:

1. We've updated the review evaluations popup, you can see evaluator profile images alongside their scores. 
2. We updated the layout on the wizard to put batched selection, above private.

🐞 Bug Fixes:

1. Fixed an issue where the select batch dropdown was empty in the Create Memo Wizard. Now, the dropdown will be auto-populated. 
2. Fixed an issue where the default text in the comment box was showing in certain scenarios. 
3. Fixed an issue where selecting text on the page sometimes led to an unresponsive page.
