Hello Brightidea users! We're happy to share a series of updates across our suite of products, including Brightidea, Brightidea Memo, and Brightidea Whiteboard.
In this release, we continue to improve the user interface, add features, and fix bugs across the platform. For the full documentation visit the Product Release Notes forum in our Support Portal.
BRIGHTIDEA
🦗 Bug fixes:
- We fixed a bug where the title needed to be added to the License History Page in System Setup.
- We fixed an issue where the Close icon was misaligned on the Pipeline Export Page. (Windows only)
- We fixed an issue where the Jira Integration search results were performing slowly.
- Adjusted issue where some automated system emails had broken links for the dynamic object/URL.
WHITEBOARD
💫 Features and improvements:
- On Whiteboard, we have enhanced the Text Box scaling and resizing so that the text will wrap and stay within the Text Box, and stay positioned in a central location.
- We added enhancements to the bullet functionality in Whiteboard to allow for bullets to be auto-created by typing a hyphen and space as well as allowing the user to re-start bullets after a line break.
- We have improved the 'Save a Copy' functionality on Whiteboard, making access to copies more stable.
- Enhanced the display of the Whiteboard title in Firefox.
🦗 Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an issue where empty Text Boxes would remain on the canvas after clicking outside of the canvas.
- Fixed a Whiteboard navigation issue where users could end up in auto-pan mode if they had nothing selected.
- When using the default text, fixed an issue where the "Enter Text" empty state prompt would fall outside the box when dragging from left toolbar, as well as fixing the original size selection.
- We fixed a bug where scaling a text box via a hotkey and dragging it horizontally or downward would cause the bottom bounding box to expand unpredictably and sometimes move outside the box.
MEMO
💫 Features and improvements:
- We updated the language in the Memo Template hover states to be consistent with Whiteboard.
🦗 Bug fixes:
- Fixed a bug where users where there was additional padding on the All Comments area with replies.
