Brightidea's Pipeline management functionality incorporates a next generation architecture with significant new capabilities, providing the foundation for future new capabilities. For more information on Pipeline management and the next generation architecture, please visit the Pipeline management overview, or the detailed Knowledge Base articles.

For those customers using this new functionality, below are the updates and improvements in the latest release:

  • Innovation State (Ideas, Opportunities, Projects) is now included with the Pipeline idea export
  • For the Pipeline Steps view, filtering by Status now correctly updates the Idea counts in the Step header
  • Large numbers of ideas may now be deleted successfully
  • Copying an existing Pipeline now correctly copies Scorecard template tooltips
  • Fixed several issues with the Pipeline Rules Engine:
    • Multiple Steps with rules for advancing to the next Step no longer cause Ideas to skip Steps
    • The optional Conditions field no longer appears as required, preventing new rules from being created
  • Fixed an issue in which Development action items would not display attachments correctly
  • Fixed an issue in which System Administrators would received duplicate email notifications
  • Fixed an issue in which apostrophes in Idea Statuses would cause the Average Days Per Status counts to be inaccurate
  • From Project Steps, adding new Ideas to a Project Step no longer resets existing Project Team Members
  • Fixed an issue in which user search for Development Team members would not display correctly

We have also made the following updates to Previous Architecture:

  • Fixed an issue in which apostrophes in Idea Statuses would cause the Average Days Per Status counts to be inaccurate

  • When saving drafts of Blog Posts, changes to the Blog Title are now saved correctly
  • Fixed an issue in which Idea Status History Export would not display Idea Status Change Reason
