In the past two weeks, we have made several enhancements. Please see below for a list of the most important ones. Note that these will take effect on Wednesday, April 18th, 2012, 8:30PM EST.
We have thoroughly tested these new enhancements and fixes to ensure high quality before allowing them into production. In case you notice any disruptions, please let us know and we will take fast, appropriate action. Thank you!
Enterprise
- Fixed an issue with auto-suggest search area for Users --> Manage section in Enterprise setup
- Made a fix to accommodate users to reset their password even if they disabled their emails in their Brightidea profile
- Fixed error when logging in via Google
WebStorm
- An email notification is now sent when new tags are added to an idea
- If an idea is edited and saved without any changes, no email notification will be sent.
- Consolidated email notifications for tags; only one email notification is sent to a user when:
- An idea is posted with multiple subscribed tags
- Multiple subscribed tags are added to an existing idea
WebStorm Admin
- Sorting by idea code now follows proper numeric order (e.g. D199 is not followed by D1000)
- Sorting by additional idea questions is provided in WebStorm Admin grid
- Fixed an issue in which assigning proposals to multiple ideas would be assigned to the system administrator
Switchboard
- Fixed an issue in which canceling a scorecard action item would affect the scores of other action items when multiple action items are sent at the same time
- Fixed several issues with Proposals rich text editor (BETA):
- Image upload security enhancements
- Additional text styles
- Fixes for proposal fields not wrapping properly during editing
- Improved cross-browser compatibility
- We have made a number of enhancements to Switchboard’s workflow for evaluators. We have improved the following areas:
- Action Item email notifications
- Only one email notification is sent when multiple action items are assigned to a user (e.g. Assign Scorecard to an evaluator for multiple proposals in a collection)
- Changed the default email templates for proposal and scorecard action item notifications to improve clarity and link users directly to the Action Items page
- Assign Scorecard and Assign Proposal templates are now applied to all proposal and scorecard action item notifications
- Enterprise Member Landing Page Action Items section
- Added a “View All” link to Switchboard Action Items page
- Completed Action Item section no longer shows canceled action items

- Switchboard Action Items page
- Improved columns so that titles are always visible by default
- Added columns to Open tab
- Collection – Collection name if the action item was sent from a collection
- Round – Round number if the action item was sent from a collection
- Assigned by – The user who assigned the action item

- Added columns to Closed tab
- Assigned by – The user who assigned the action item
- Date Completed – The date that the user committed the action item
- Improved Closed tab Proposal/Scorecard/Collection columns
- Added hoverover tooltips for information on Collection and Round

- Improved layout of the Scorecard Commit page
- All regions displayed by default (i.e. proposal, comments and evaluation questions)
- Ability to resize all regions
- Action Item instructional text
- Added instructional popups that appear for users in Proposal and Scorecard commit pages

- Evaluator views of Switchboard collections and scorecard summaries
- Evaluators only see the collection icon in the Action Items Closed tab after committing all scorecards in a Round
- When clicking a collection icon in the Action Items page, evaluators see a “read-only” view of a collection:
- No Round drop-down menu
- No right-click menu
- No “Create a New Round” section

- Evaluators now see up and down navigation buttons for viewing scorecard summaries within a collection
