Enterprise Level Blog
To submit a new blog post, Admins can navigate to the Enterprise blog submission page. The easiest way to locate your blog submission page is applying the [Blog] dynamic Link to your Navigation, and then applying the Post Blog widget onto the page.
Note: Only Admins may submit blog posts.
The blog submitter can freely input any text for the title/content fields, input or select any tag(s) associated with the blog post, select a "Blog Topic", and apply any Attachment(s) to the blog post.
Note: the blog Attachment limit is 7MB.
Enterprise blogs are tied to Initiative level blogs. All Initiative blog postings will appear at the Enterprise level with respect to domain/group restrictions.
Users that have access to the Enterprise level have access to the Enterprise blog list/view pages, so if user navigates to the Enterprise blog list (https://_____.brightidea.com/ct/c_blog_list.bix?a=OD____) the user will be able to see all blog posts across the affiliate.

Initiative Level Blog
Blog functionality at the Initiative level is similar to the Enterprise level - with the main difference being that it is targeting users within a specific Initiative only. Blog postings at the Initiative level will appear on the Initiative level blog list page.
Users can navigate to the Initiative Blog page by clicking on a Navigation item that is configured with the [Blog] link or by directly going to the page (https://_____brightidea.com/ct/ct_blog_list.bix?c=____).
Only users who have access to the Initiative (via group/domain restriction) have the ability to access the Initiative blog page.

Blog Commenting
If the administrator wishes to have users comment on blog postings, please enable "Comments Submission" under Site Setup > Site > Blog
Editing / Deleting A Blog Entry
Administrators can edit/delete blog postings by selecting the "edit / delete" buttons on the blog page. If the administrator updates the blog, it will keep the original posting date. After an update is saved, it will not trigger any new emails to your audience.
Blog Subscriptions
Blogs can be subscribed by anyone that has access and an existing account.
If a user is subscribed to a blog, an email will be sent to them when a new blog post has been submitted into the Initiative.
Note: Blogs can only be subscribed at the Initiative level - Enterprise level blog subscription is not supported at this time.
How a User can Subscribe to the Blog
If a User wishes to manually subscribe to a blog, they can select the "subscribe" option on the top-right of the blog post. The User can also "unsubscribe" by selecting the same link.
Users will need to subscribe to each individual Initiative if they wish to receive emails for any new Blog posts. There is no functionality to subscribe to all Initiative Blogs at once.
After a User subscribes, they will receive an email notification shown below when a new Blog post is created. This template can be configured through Enterprise/Site Setup > System Email Messages > "Blog Draft Posted".
Pre-Subscribing Users to a Blog
As an administrator, navigate to Site Setup > Site > Blog > "Subscribe User to Blog on Registration".
The User will then be pre-subscribed to the blog once they register for the Initiative. This will only work for new Users.
How to Add a User to be Subscribed to the Blog
Admins can navigate to Site Setup > Site > Blog > "Manage Blog Subscriptions".
Under the "Manage Blog Subscriptions" section, enter in email or screen name of the user. Type name of user and click 'Add Member' to add them to the subscribed list. Once subscribed, the user(s) will receive emails on all new Blog postings.
Viewing Who is Subscribed
Admins can navigate to Site Setup > Site > Blog > "Get Current Subscribers".
Once there, Admins can see who is subscribed to the Initiative level blog and will have the ability to remove Users if needed.
Note: There is no export available for Blog subscribers.
