When an end-user receives an error while attempting to register or log into Brightidea, it's likely due to one of the following reasons:
- The entered password is not valid.
- The user is group or domain-restricted from the System/Initiative.
- The registration invitation expired.
- The email address does not exist.
Note: If there are more than 5 failed login attempts from the same IP address within a 15 minute window, they will receive an error. If this happens, the user must wait 15 minutes before attempting to log in again.
