Product Release Notes July 24th, 2024

Our latest product release took effect Wednesday, July 24th, 2024. This post may be different from the release notes received via email.

General bug fixes and enhancements:

• Fixed an issue where the "Near to Me" filter was causing ideas not to load within an Idea Board.
• Fixed an issue where the save button was non-functional when the condition "All action items for this idea in the same step" was included within a rule in the Rules Engine.
• Fixed an issue in the Rules Engine where dynamic fields were incorrectly inserted into the email body instead of the subject line, requiring users to manually copy and paste them.
• Analysts can now delete their own scheduled reports while the delete icon is hidden for scheduled reports created by other users.
• Fixed an issue where some "Schedule" buttons for scheduled/recurring reports under Site Setup were not displaying the time icon. All "Schedule" buttons now consistently show the time icon.
• Fixed an issue where the "Require users to view all Terms before accepting" setting under Site Setup > Site > Terms was not saving changes and reverting to "No" upon refresh.
• Fixed an issue where in some instances, the system logo would appear as a broken link on public pages.
• Resolved an issue causing the scheduler settings popup to display incorrectly in sites using the Custom app.
• Fixed an issue where videos uploaded as attachments to an idea were not playable in the idea description area until a hard refresh.

Project Room:

• Added the ability to edit Project Room invitation emails under System Setup > Site > System Email Messages, including the new dynamic field [PROJECT_URL].
• Resolved an issue preventing tasks from being dragged to a specific position within a folder in Project Room, restoring the expected functionality.
• Updated the Project Room Task Notes framework to resolve the URL editing issue.
• Updated the Project Room settings to replace the standard red "Delete Room" button with a trash can icon.

Whiteboard:

• Improved the user experience for Stacks and NNLs by updating the interaction with Headers. Users can now double-click on a Header to enter text editing mode and exit the mode by clicking off or hitting ESC. 
• Fixed the issue where long idea codes would run over the edge and push the user icon off the card when sending ideas to Whiteboard from Top Ideas, Steps, or List.
• Added the "Delete" option to the right-click menu in WB, allowing users to delete objects directly from the canvas by right-clicking on them.
• Added a caution icon and a modal to inform users when the Whiteboard license allocation limit has been reached, hiding user dropdown fields.

Hackathon:

• Fixed an issue where the "Get Started" button for the Hackathon Onboarding Wizard was still visible on the homepage even when submissions were no longer live.
