Product Release Notes - Feb 19th, 2025

General Bug Fixes and Enhancements

• Fixed KBA Link in Departmental Idea Box App- We corrected the link in the Departmental Idea Box app to direct users to the public viewable KBA page instead of the edit page, affecting some systems.
• Join Event Widget Title Persistence Fix- We resolved an issue where changing the title of the Join Event widget did not persist after editing for some systems.
• Ampersand Display Fix in Development Questions- We fixed an issue where answers that contained an ampersand were displaying incorrectly in Development questions on View Idea 3 for some systems.
• Participant Page Filtering Update- We fixed an issue where removing all site setup filters unintentionally also removed default participant page filters, restoring the intended behavior for some systems.
• Resolved Widget Overlap in View Idea 3- We fixed an issue where widgets overlapped the edit image modal in View Idea 3, preventing the use of drag and drop or image selection features in some systems.
• Enhanced Move Idea Clarity- We added a warning message in the Move Idea popup to inform users that moving an idea will cancel action items and delete evaluation data, requiring confirmation before proceeding.
• Fix for Innovations Dashboard Tabs- We resolved an issue causing a blank error message and infinite spinner when navigating to the "By Department," "By Location," and "By Initiative" tabs on the Innovations Dashboard, which affected some systems.

Whiteboard

• Numbered List Update- We updated text boxes to automatically start a numbered list when users type "1." followed by a space.
• Manual Dash Bullet Support- We updated how bullets work within text boxes, allowing users to add manual dash bullets.
• Tab-Induced Bullet Alignment Fix- We fixed the unexpected text movements when using the tab key with Bullets.
• Text Box Resizing Fix- We corrected an issue where in manually changing the width or height of a Text Box in the right panel improperly adjusted the box. This ensures changes now anchor from the top left handle.
• Sticky Note Hotkey Fix- We fixed an issue that prevented the "I" hotkey from working on Sticky Notes in Whiteboard.
• Text Box URL Handling- We ensured that URLs typed in text boxes receive proper URL treatment and are displayed in the Links section of the Right Panel.
• Smart Matrix Sticky Placement- We fixed an issue where some stickies were stuck under the Smart Matrix and could not be selected.
• User Preferences Persistence- Users can now save their preferences in the Whiteboard file menu, ensuring settings persist across all Whiteboards.
• Improved Textbox Indentation- We fixed an issue where pressing Tab after a line break did not indent text inside a textbox for some systems.
• Improved Transparency Hotkeys for Borders- We updated the hotkeys for transparency in Whiteboard to affect both the fill and the border of shapes.
• Swimlane Sticky Alignment Fix- We addressed an issue causing stickies to overlap with text when organized in Vertical or Horizontal swimlanes for some systems.

Project Room

• Project Room Favorite Renaming Sync- We fixed an issue where renaming a folder in Project Room Favorites only updated the original folder outside of Favorites, affecting some systems.
