The Brightidea system has several layers of access that allow you to assign users to the appropriate Role based on their level of participation in your innovation programs.
The following descriptions will guide you through the Role options in the system.
Role Levels
Enterprise Roles
-
System Administrator: This role has access and control over the entire platform. System Admins can create new Pipelines and Communities and grant these administrative rights to other specified users. They also have access to all dashboards and export capabilities and automatic access to all Initiatives. Please note that clients typically only assign 1 to 2 System Admins to avoid configuration conflicts.

- Affiliate Sponsor: The primary stakeholder of a system— their name is typically associated with the system to provide more credibility. The Affiliate Sponsor has the same administrative access to the system as a System Administrator. This role is initially assigned to the individual who creates the system.
