The Hackathon Pre-Launch Page allows Administrators to promote an upcoming Hackathon, display Sponsors and Judges, and allow Participants to register before the event officially begins.
This page can be customized using the Widget Editor, which controls which sections appear on the page.
Accessing the Pre-Launch Page Editor
To edit the Hackathon Pre-Launch page:
Navigate to the Hackathon initiative page.
Click the gear icon in the bottom left corner of the page.
Select Widget Editor.
This opens the configuration panel where you can control the page layout and visible components.
Pre-Launch Page Components
The Hackathon Pre-Launch page typically contains the following sections.
Welcome Banner
The top section includes a header image and event title. Displayed elements include:
Event banner image
Hackathon title
Launch date
Host organization
Admins can update the banner by hovering over it and selecting Edit Welcome Image.
Event Description
Below the header, the page can include a description of the hackathon event, such as:
Event overview
Goals or challenge description
Instructions for participants
This helps participants understand the purpose of the hackathon and what is expected.
Registration Section
Participants can register directly from the Pre-Launch page.
The registration section typically displays:

This area includes:

The Judges section lists the individuals responsible for evaluating submissions.
