Product Release Notes - July 29th, 2026

General Platform fixes and enhancements

• Step Change Operation No-Op- We fixed an issue where some ideas could not be moved between steps, affecting certain systems.
• Initiative Scheduler Email Display Name Fix- We corrected a bug where emails sent by the Initiative Scheduler used the enterprise display name instead of the initiative-level display name, affecting some systems.
• Improved Question Matching Logic- We resolved the issue where submission questions failed to copy between pipelines for some systems.
• Negative Chips Voting Remediation- We corrected the chips voting input to no longer accept negative values, ensuring the available chip balance accurately reflects the configured limit.
• Request Invite Form Disable Option- We introduced a new system-level setting that allows admins to fully disable the Request Invite form and endpoint, ensuring it becomes completely unreachable when not in use.
• Development Field Attachment Feedback- We added a progress bar and error toast notifications for the Development field attachments to provide clear feedback during uploads.
• Edge Authentication Error Fix- We resolved an issue where users were receiving an "Authentication Required" error when downloading exports in Edge, affecting some systems.
• Fixed Scorecard Display Issue- We resolved an issue where completing a stale review action item could incorrectly display a score of zero in the Evaluations tab for some systems.
• Action Item Email Image Fix- We resolved an issue where images in Action Item emails were broken due to non-public image URLs, ensuring they now display correctly in external mail clients.
• Improved User Tagging Search- We addressed excessive latency when searching for users to tag in an Idea comment that affected some systems.
• User Activity Export Update- We fixed an issue where selecting "Include user profile data" in the User Activity Report export resulted in incomplete data for some systems.
• Email "From" Contact Correction- We fixed an issue where the email "From" contact for Initiative blog announcements was incorrect for some systems.
• Idea Code Duplication Fix- We resolved an issue with idea code duplication in the Free Trial System that affected some systems.
• Idea Date Entered Step Discrepancy Fix- We resolved an issue causing a discrepancy for some systems between the dates an Idea entered a Step and when the Rules Engine updated the status.
• Corrected Idea History Tab Logging- We fixed an issue where the Idea History tab incorrectly displayed an extra step-change event when a Rules Engine rule moved the idea, which affected some systems.
• Request Invite Validation- We implemented server-side validation to prevent the Request Invite email from being sent when requester details are missing.
• Rich Text 3.0 Widget Formatting Correction- We resolved issues where enabling Rich Text 3.0 settings caused rendering and styling problems for custom HTML content, leading to layout and table discrepancies in some systems.
• Fixed Disabled Status Change Emails Sending- We resolved an issue where Status Change emails were still being sent to users even when they were disabled, affecting some systems.
• Action Item Indicator Restoration- We fixed the missing progress indicator icon for action items in Ideas after updating and saving a development step, which affected some systems.
• Fixed Image Display Issue in Email Template- We resolved an issue where images in the "Approved and Implemented" email template were not displaying in sent emails for some systems.

Project Room

• Project Room V2 Polish- We polished items in Project Room V2.

Whiteboard

• Fixed Transparency Hotkey Issue- We fixed an issue where using a transparency hotkey on a rectangle with no fill incorrectly added a fill back, affecting some systems.
• Whiteboard Emoji Auto-Complete Improvement- We enhanced the emoji input system in Whiteboard to auto-complete emoji codes without needing a trailing colon.
• Whiteboard Line Style Options- We added a new Style option in the Lines panel to switch between Solid and Dash line styles.
• Fixed Pixelation on Reimported Images in Whiteboard- We resolved an issue where images exported as PNGs from the Whiteboard appeared pixelated when re-added to the canvas.
