3 FEATURESNew

NEW FEATURE 1 OF 3
Reorder the Homepage Header buttons |
What's new: Admins can now drag the buttons in a Homepage Header into any order. Put the action you care about most, like Submit, first.
Why it matters: During a campaign push, you can lead with Submit, then move Browse first once voting starts.
How to use it:
- On the homepage, open the gear menu (bottom left) and turn on Widget Editor.
- Hover the header, click Edit Welcome Message, then open the … button menu in the header toolbar.
- Drag a row by its handle above or below another row. The header buttons move as you drag.
- Click Save. Click Cancel instead to keep the old order.
Good to know:
- Each header keeps its own order (Home, Winners, and each team site page header). A new page header starts with the Home order.
- Sites with no saved order look exactly as before.
- Color pickers move with their buttons.
- Reordering uses drag and drop with a mouse. Keyboard and touch reordering are not supported.
- Clicking a drag handle does not turn the button on or off. Clicking the row label still does.

NEW FEATURE 2 OF 3
Collapsible left menu on Enterprise User Home |
What's new: The left menu on Enterprise User Home now collapses to a slim row of icons. Your main content gets the extra width.
Why it matters: Reviewing a long list of ideas or action items is easier with more room on screen.
How to use it:
- Open your User Home.
- Click the sidebar icon in the Profile row to collapse the menu.
- Hover an icon to see its name. Click the icon again to expand the menu.
Good to know:
- This is on for every enterprise User Home. There is no setting to turn on.
- When collapsed, Helpful Links becomes one link icon. Click it to open a list of every link.
- The menu opens expanded again after you reload the page.
- Team sites already had this option and look the same as before.
- The mobile layout (narrow screens) is unchanged.

NEW FEATURE 3 OF 3
Owner filter for steps view, idea boards and team sites |
What's new: You can now filter ideas by owner in the steps view, on idea boards, and in team site pipelines. It works the same way as the Owner filter in list view.
Why it matters: Idea owners can open the pipeline and see only the ideas they are responsible for.
How to use it:
- Open the pipeline steps view, an idea board, or a team site pipeline.
- Open the filter sidebar and expand Owner.
- Pick an owner, or pick Not Assigned to find ideas with no owner.
- Click Clear to see all ideas again.
Good to know:
- Owner shows only when idea owners are turned on for the initiative.
- On idea boards it works in grid, list and pipeline views, and stays applied when you switch views.
- The filter stays applied after a page reload.
- Owner does not appear on Department Idea Box pipelines, the participants board, the Best Idea page, or for logged out visitors.
- Owner names match on part of the name, as in list view. For example, "Ann" also matches "Joanne".
1 UPDATEImproved

IMPROVEMENT 1 OF 1
Printed ideas list the submission team |
What's new: When you print an idea, a new Submission Team: line now lists every team member. It sits right below Submitted by:.
Good to know:
- The line shows only when multiple submitters are turned on for the initiative and the idea has a team.
- It is hidden for anonymous ideas.
- If the idea sits in a step that hides submitter identity, the print page shows "Anonymous" and hides the team, just like the idea page.
- The same line appears on the campaign and enterprise Print Idea List pages, which a BI Only option controls. Contact your CSM to turn it on.
4 FIXESFixed
- Importing ideas into Department Idea Box sub-pipelines: Uploading the sample file could hang, show "Invalid file type", or the upload button did nothing. The sample file now downloads as .xlsx and uploads normally from the steps view and Ideas List.
- Import error messages: A failed upload now says the file could not be processed, instead of blaming the file type. A truly wrong file type still says "Invalid file type".
- Print Idea List pages: The campaign and enterprise Print Idea List pages could fail to load. They now load on every sort tab, and comments without an attachment now print.
- Comment privacy on Print Idea List pages: Hidden, Internal and Submitter-only comments could print for any viewer, and removed comments printed their original text. Now only comment admins see restricted comments, and removed comments show the removal label.
FOR ADMINS AND ITTechnical notes
Details for admins and IT teams planning around this release.
Behavior changes to plan for
- Idea import sample file: The Sample Data Template for idea import now downloads as .xlsx instead of .xls. Memo pipelines still use .csv.
- Old .xls sample files: An older .xls sample that contains emoji in status names is now refused within seconds with "We could not open this file". Download a fresh sample instead.
- Print Idea List comments: On the campaign list, admins, campaign moderators and read only admins see all comments. On the enterprise list, only system admins see all comments, and not in "View as Ordinary User" mode. Everyone else sees visible General comments only.
- Fewer printed comments for some roles: Submitters and evaluators may see fewer comments on the print lists than on the idea page. No one sees more. Use the single idea Print page for the full comment set.
- Header button order and the classic header editor: Saving a header in the classic (non-inline) header editor resets the button order to the default.
Specs for new features
- Header button order: Default order is Browse, Participants, Get Started (Onboarding), Submit, Custom. Hidden buttons keep their place in the saved order.
- Collapsible left menu: Collapsed width is 64px (expanded is 230px). The collapsed state is not saved between visits.
- Owner filter: Options are "Not Assigned" plus every idea owner. Matching is partial and not case sensitive, the same as list view. The selection is kept in the page address, so a reload or shared link keeps it.
- Submission Team line: Uses the existing Submission Team label, so any label you customized for the idea page also applies here.
