System/Initiative Setup

  • To view or change the contact email, navigate to System Setup or Site Setup > Site > General Settings
  • Change the Contact Email & Contact Name fields as desired
  • Select Save Changes
    • Note: The Contact Name will be used as the Sender Name for each email if configured in System and Site Setup.

  • Admins can make changes to this in both System and Initiative levels.
  • If an Admin removes the Contact Email on the Initiative level, it will default to the Contact Email defined under System Setup
  • If defined, the Initiative-level Contact Email will take priority over the System-level Contact Email for Idea submission.
  • If activity is conducted on the System level, then the System email will be used in the email.
  • Please refrain from including spaces, as a "%20" may display if they are included.
  • The Contact Email also applies to all emails triggered from Initiative Admin and Pipelines
  • The Contact Email is also used for the Contact Us email at the bottom of every System and Initiative page footer.

Pipeline Setup > Email Configuration

  • Admins can also configure the Contact Name and Contact Email in the Communications tab in Pipeline. To learn more about Pipeline Communications, check out this support article.

Is there any way to set up a display name to accompany the email? Something akin to "Support Service service@brightidea.com"?

    Hi Dallas -

Not at this time unfortunately. :(

Definitely speak with Michelle if you wish to discuss an enhancement.

    Best,

    Anthony

Hi Luca, we had the same requirement some time ago If possible, you can setup a new wesbstorm where people can upload those new queries, and have the support email setup as baby sitter for that webstorm, that way you will be notified of every new "idea" (support request) that has been uploaded
