Getting Started
- To get started, navigate to the Products > Programs and select Pitch
- Select Set Up Pitch Event
- Follow the steps and fill in the required information to complete the wizard.
- Site Home Page
- Once you create your new Pitch initiative, you will be brought to your Pitch site home page.
- Here, you can update Site Hero Image, change your submission form, and more!
- Pipeline Steps View
- After successfully creating your Pitch event, you will see that it comes with preconfigured stages and steps.
- To navigate there, select Admin --> Manage Pipeline

- The Pitch backend pipeline configuration consists of the following:

- Proposal Initial Screen
- Proposal Development
- Proposal Evaluation
- Pitch Development
- Pitch Evaluation
- Handed Off for Funding

- Proposal Development
- Pitch Presentations

- Proposal Submission
- Once a user submits a proposal it will be put into the "Proposal Submission Step".
- There is no associated tool type configured for this step
- Administrators will have the option on how they want to vet proposal before they are moved into the "Proposal Initial Screen" step.
- Proposal Initial Screen
- The next step in the Pitch pipeline is "Proposal Initial Screen."
- There is no associated tool type configured for this step
- Administrators have the option to configure a tool type for this step if additional evaluation is needed before the "Proposal Development" stage.
- Proposal Development
- Proposal Development
- This step comes pre-configured as a "Development" tool type
- Evaluators will receive and "Development" action item after a proposal is added from "Proposal Initial Screen Submission"
- Subject Matter Experts will have the opportunity to rate the based on the questions configured for the "Development" tool type.
- Proposal Judging
- This step comes pre-configured as a "Scorecard" tool type
- Judges receive a scorecard action item, after a proposal is added from the "Proposal Development' step
- Judges will have the opportunity to rate the proposals - based on the questions configured.
- Pitch Presentations
- Pitch Development
- This step comes pre-configured as a "Development" tool type
- Participants will receive "Development" action item after a proposal is added from the Proposal Evaluation step
- Participants (and any teams) will have the opportunity to iterate their proposal.
- Pitch Evaluation
- This step comes pre-configured as a "Judging" tool type
- Judges will receive a "Judging" action item after a proposal is added from the "Pitch Development" step
- Judges will have the opportunity to rate the based on the questions configured for the Judging tool type.
- Results
- Handed Off for Funding
- The "Handed Off For Funding" step is for proposals that have been selected for funding / development
- There is no configured tool type for this step
- Administrators can configure a tool type for this step if additional analysis is needed
- Not Handed Off For Funding
- The "Not Handed Off For Funding" step is for proposals that have not been selected for further funding / development
- There is no configured tool type for this step
- Administrators can configure a tool type for this step if additional analysis is needed
