Getting Started

To get started, navigate to Products > Programs and select the Slash app.
- Select Set Up a Slash Challenge

Follow the steps and fill in the required information to complete the Wizard.
Site Home Page
- Once you create your new Slash challenge, you will be brought to your Slash site home page.

Here, you can update the site hero image, change your submission form, and more!

Pipeline Step View

New Slash challenges are preconfigured with Stages and Steps.
- To access, select Steps from the Admin navigation menu

The Slash backend Pipeline configuration consists of the following:

- Rate Potential Ideas Step
- Evaluate Potential Ideas Step
- Prioritize Potential Ideas Step
- Prepare for Handoff Step

Implementation Stage
- Monitor Projects Step

Cost Savings Applied Stage
- Track Business Impact Step

Rate Potential Ideas
- New Submissions will appear in the first Step of the Evaluation Stage, Rate Potential Ideas.
- This Step comes pre-configured as a Single Scale tool type, which allows assigned Evaluators to rate Ideas on a default scale of 1-7.

Evaluate Potential Ideas
- The next step of the Evaluation Stage is Evaluate Potential Ideas.

This step is pre-configured as a Scorecard tool type, which allows assigned Evaluators to rate Ideas based on the questions configured for the Scorecard template.
- Note: By default, the Evaluate Potential Ideas Step is configured to use the Slash – Idea Evaluation template.

Prioritization
- The next step in the Evaluation Stage is Prioritize Potential Ideas
- This step is pre-configured as a Stack Rank tool type, which allows assigned Evaluators to rank the Ideas before they are passed to the Prepare for Handoff Stage.
- This Step allows evaluators to rank the ideas before they are passed to the Prepare for Handoff Stage

Prepare for Handoff
- The final Step in the Evaluation Stage is Prepare for Handoff, which is utilized for tracking which ideas have transitioned to projects for handoff, including adding any additional information and resources necessary for implementation
- No tool type is configured for this step. However, if additional analysis is needed, Admins can configure a tool type for it.

Monitor Projects
- The only Step in the Implementation Stage is Monitor Projects, utilized for tracking projects currently in progress to stay up to date on the latest activity

Cost Savings Applied

Track Business Impact
- The only Step in the Cost Savings Applied Stage is Track Business Impact, which tracks completed projects.
- No tool type is configured for this Step. However, if additional analysis is needed, Admins can configure a tool type for it.
