Screening

  • Screen Project Opportunities
    • As opportunities for ‘transformative’ projects get submitted, they will be placed in this first step.
    • This step allows Single Scale assignees to quickly rate the submitted Projects before proceeding to the next stage
      • Projects that are rated above a “4” will be moved to the next step automatically once action items are completed. We recommend the Sponsor and team should review all opportunities every month or every quarter.

Project ROI Analysis

  • Develop Business Case
    • Projects that are advanced to this step will trigger a Development action item back to the Project Submitter, so he/she can add further details to develop their ‘Business Case’.
    • Development owner/team members can further build out the business case for the submitted Project using this step
      • Once the action item is completed, the project is moved automatically to the next step.
  • Evaluate Project Opportunities
    • After the business case is developed, Projects are moved into the "Evaluate Project Opportunities" step
      • This step is preconfigured as a "Scorecard" tool type
    • In this step, Subject Matter Experts will conduct cost benefit analysis on the potential project. Projects that have completed evaluations by all Subject Matter Experts should then move forward to the next step.

Project Implementation

  • Plan and Prepare Projects
    • After the project opportunity are assessed, they can be moved into the "Plan and Prepare Projects" step.
      • Projects in this step will be prepared for implementation. Once work is ready to begin, it can advance to the next Step.
      • There is no tool type pre-configured to this step
    • Transform Administrators/Moderators have the option to configure an additional tool type if they wish to add further evaluations to the Transform pipeline.
  • Conduct Pilot
    • After Projects are planned and prepared, they can be moved into the "Conduct Pilot" step.
      • Projects in this step will be implemented, concluding in a Pilot launch (typically a pilot before rolling out to a broader audience).
      • This is an opportunity to collect feedback and address issues, and plan for the broader rollout.
      • There is no tool type pre-configured to this step
    • Transform Administrators/Moderators have the option to configure an additional tool type if they wish to add further evaluations to the Transform pipeline.
  • Roll Out
    • After Projects finish the Pilot step, they can be moved into the "Roll Out" step.
    • Projects in this step are being rolled out to their target audience.
      • There is no tool type pre-configured to this step
    • Transform Administrators/Moderators have the option to configure an additional tool type if they wish to add further evaluations to the Transform pipeline.

Impact Tracking

  • Track Business Impact
    • The last part of the Transform pipeline is to record and track the business impact of the Projects.
      • Once rollout for the project is complete, any projects in this step IPM will track business impact for these projects.
      • There is no tool type pre-configured to this step
    • Transform Administrators/Moderators have the option to configure an additional tool type if they wish to add further evaluations to the Transform pipeline.
