Brightidea System Administrators have the ability to assign Initiative level Administrators for specific Sites in their Brightidea.
Initiative Administrators can manage any Site or pipeline to which they are given access, including access to all respective setup areas described below.

Getting Started
- Users can be assigned to the Pipeline Administrator role while the Initiative is being created in the Apps Setup Wizard or in existing Initiatives under Pipeline Setup > People > Roles
- Pipeline Admins can also be configured in the Setup menu for any of Brightidea's Apps:
What can Pipeline/Initiative Administrators access, and what actions can they perform?
Global Navigation Administrative Features
- Pipeline Admins can use Global Navigation to access the Pipelines they are assigned to manage.
- Initiatives that a Pipeline Admin is not assigned to will not be available for them to access.
- Note: Pipeline Admins will not have access to the Command Center, People, Products, Innovations, Analytics, and System Setup menu options.

Site Setup
- In Site Setup, the Pipeline Admin can configure settings and options, including:
- Manage users
- Configure Site level Email Templates
- Manage Initiative level widgets
- Change the design/custom CSS on the Site.
- Import Ideas
- Configure the Idea Submission form
- Configure Idea Categories
- Configure Idea Statuses.
- View & Export Site data
- And more!
- Pipeline Administrators do not have access to System-level setup.
Dynamic Navigation
- Pipeline Admins can configure dynamic navigation items under Site Setup > Site > Navigation

Widget Editor Mode
- Pipeline Administrators can add, remove, and edit widgets throughout their Site pages.

Label Editor Mode
- Pipeline Admins can customize certain labels in their Sites through either Site Setup > Site > Labels or Label Edit mode.

View Idea Page
- Pipeline Administrators have full access to all Ideas within their Initiatives and can perform various actions, including:
Pipeline Management
- Pipeline Admins can perform various actions within their Pipelines, including:
- Access Pipeline Setup
- Switch the assigned Pipeline on Idea
- Note: Only the Pipelines a Pipeline Admin has access to will be available for selection
- Create, delete, or move Steps
- Create, delete, move, or update Stages
- Delete Ideas
- Configure and Change Steps
- Assign Action Items using the various tool types

Copy, link, and move Ideas between Pipelines
- Note: Only the Pipelines a Pipeline Admin has access to will be available for selection
- Access Manage Step for all Step tool types
- Export Reports from Steps and Pipeline List View
- Pipeline Admins can also access the Action Items Manager and can view, delete, cancel, and reopen Action Items for Ideas in their Pipelines

Note: Pipeline Administrators cannot:
- Access Pipelines for which they do not have Admin rights
- Create or delete Pipelines (including using Apps)

Dashboards
- Pipeline Admins can access Dashboards within their available Pipelines
- Note: Pipeline Admins cannot access the Enterprise Dashboards, Command Center Dashboards, or the Business Results Dashboard; these Dashboards are only accessible to System Administrators.
Important Notes:
- If you are on Brightidea's Admin-based licensing, each user who is configured as Pipeline Administrator on your Brightidea site will count as an Admin license towards your Brightidea subscription.
